Welcome to Social Minds

Social Minds Therapy for neurodivergent kids and teens

Learning to interact in various social settings is an important skill, but it’s not something that comes naturally to everyone, especially those with language, speech difficulties or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Social Minds provides Social Skills support for kids, teens & young adults who experience social challenges. We help individuals by providing skills and strategies to help them feel confident when navigating their social world and building a stronger sense of self to achieve their individualised goals.

Our focus is on ensuring kids, teens & young adults with learning or behavioural difficulties aren’t disadvantaged from thriving socially. With a multidisciplinary approach, our programs combine evidence-based practices and a flexible approach where we modify our programs to suit each individual enrolled with us. We collaborate closely with schools, early childhood settings, professionals and parents/carers to help children, teens & young adults with learning disabilities and difficulties delve into their social minds to be the best version of themselves. As a result, our participants learn social skills in a safe and supportive environment, which they can take to the real world.

Social Minds strives to provide a specialised social skills service focused on boosting our learners’ confidence whilst making it a fun experience. Our dynamic team works collaboratively to ensure that our participants learn great long-term strategies to help them navigate their social world and strategies that work for them.

Meet Monique

Social Minds started with founder Monique who had a passion for helping students in their learning. As a mobile tutoring service, Monique assisted her neighbours and local community members with their homework whilst completing her final years of school. She quickly realised her impact on these young learners and the rewarding experience of being an educator and built a strong relationship with all her students.

This resulted in the establishment of Love2Learn Tutoring & Early Learning in 2019. Social Minds is an extension of Love2Learn, and after finishing her degree in Autism at UOW, Monique is excited to be offering a service like no other in South West Sydney with her dynamic team.
